Shrimp A la Creole is a New Orleans dish made of Wild Caught Louisiana Gulf Shrimp, shrimp stock and light brown roux, tomatoes, sautéed vegetables, and spices. Our Big Easy Shrimp Creole is a rice-based dish with a Rich Creole Gravy made with Louisiana rice cooked down with the highest quality of Wild Caught Gulf Shrimp, Louisiana made stock mixed together and cooked to perfection.
Partners Larry Avery and Mark Abraham began The Big Easy Company over a decade ago selling sausage and boudin in Southwest Louisiana stores. Their popularity grew so they expanded and are now located on Ryan Street in Lake Charles, LA. Today, Big Easy Foods still sells sausage and boudin, but also offers over 30 other products including the finest wild caught shrimp, boneless chickens, tur-duc-hens, Louisiana entrees, and meat pies (empanadas).
