Pickapeppa Sauce
Pickapeppa Sauce is created using a unique blend of tomatoes, onions, sugar, cane vinegar, mangoes, raisins, tamarinds, peppers and spices. These fine ingredients are selected from seven countries around the world, to ensure the best possible quality. This blend is then aged in oak barrels for one full year before bottling to ensure the rich flavor that Pickapeppa's admirers so love. One simple way to use Pickapeppa is to pour on top of cream cheese and eat with crackers. It can also be used on any of your other favorite dishes to add a little taste of the Caribbean.
The Pickapeppa Company Limited had a humble beginning in the kitchen of Norman Nash who started the process as a hobby in 1921. However, with a good product, but lacking the financial resources to improve it, 24 years later the rights and business were sold to Joseph Lyn Kee Chow with operations at Shooters Hill, Manchester, where the Company presently stands. Today, the Company prides itself in maintaining the distinct quality, taste and flavor as it was then. Pickapeppa is distributed in the United States by Warbac Sales in Metairie, LA.
